Here Come the Aliens

We have been learning about describing words.  Check out the describing words we have used in our poem about aliens.

Here Come the Aliens

Some are spotty and white.
Some have 3 eye balls and nippers.
Here come the aliens!
Some have metal hats and axes.
Some have suckers and googly eyes.
Here come the aliens!
Some are humongous and scary.
Some have sharp teeth and claws.
Here come the aliens!
Some are mean and grumpy.
Some are naughty and stripy.
Here come the aliens!
Some are purple and short.
Some are green and tall.
Here come the aliens!

It is important to listen to others. Racquel
It is important to use kind words because otherwise people will be sad.
It is important to  listen to the teachers because then you will know what to do.  Ethan
It is important to follow instructions.  Richard
It is important to tidy up the classroom to help Mr Marsh. Rhys

What's the time Mr Wolf?

At the end of Term 1 we learnt all about time.  Here are some pictures of us using our watches with our buddies.  We learnt the words o'clock, half past, quarter to and quarter past.

Thanks to Amelia for her great piece of writing and drawing about the tractor that visited school!
