A Breath of Fresh Air

Wow, what a fantastic couple of nights we have.  Room 6 were amazing both on stage and in our practises leading up to the performance.  Well done everyone.

Cinderella

We have been learning how to use speech marks.  Here are some of our sentences:

"I wish I could dance with the prince" said Cinderella. (Sophie)

"It's not fair" groaned the step mother. (Josh)

"I like dancing with you" said the prince. (Boston)

"If you start to cry, I start to cry" said the fairy godmother. (Conor)

"You are the prettiest princess in the world" said the prince. (Racquel)

"I wish I had a gown" said Cinderella. (Lauren)

One of our Super Star readers brought in his favourite story to school and read it to Room 6 AND Room 1.  He did a FANTASTIC job!  We love listening to stories.  Can you bring in your favourite story to read  with the class?

Grandparents

Wow, what an amazing week we have had listening to our grandparents tell stories from their past.  Thank you so much to every grandparent that visited, skyped and wrote letters.  Here are some photos from the week:
