Snowflake Stories by Room 1 and Room 6

Yesterday Room 1 and Room 6 made paper snowflakes.  First we folded the paper in half.  Then we folded it in half again.  Then you make it into a pizza shape.  Then you can draw different shapes and open it up and it is a snowflake.  “I was feeling tired of making snowflakes” said Sophie.  “I was feeling happy because it was fun” said Kerala.

Yesterday Room 1 and Room 6 made snowflakes.  We folded the paper in half and then folded it in half again.  After that we folded it into a pizza and we cut it up and made a ice cream cone.  We felt happy because we made them together.

Yesterday Room 6 and Room 1 made snowflakes.  Room 6 taught Room 1 to how to make snowflakes.  First we folded the paper, then we folded the paper again.   We then folded it into a pizza shape and then we cut off the bottom bit.  We cut shapes out of the side of the pizza.  “I liked helping Emily cutting out the shapes” said Sam.

Room 6 and Room 1 made paper snowflakes and it was cool.  We folded the paper and folded it again and we made it into a pizza shape.  Then we cut shapes into it and unfolded it.  Finally we had finished.  We liked reading the instructions and making the snowflake.

Yesterday Room 1 and Room 6 worked together.  Room 6 taught Room 1 how to make snowflakes.  First we folded the paper into a square then we folded it into a triangle so that it looks like a pizza shape.  After that we cut out shapes from the side of it.  Then we open it back up when we had finished cutting shapes from it.  Now it is a snowflake.
